What Holds Above Us

We begin to ignore the beauty of what is above us,
Living our life each day unaware of where we are,
Afraid of moving rather than staying still,
Basing our life only on what we can see,
And seamlessly putting aside the things we should feel.

In our times of desperation,
Look upon the sky as inspiration,
Something people neglect everyday,
Yet carries an overwhelming amount of importance,
Moving without a care in the world,
And what is beyond it,
Is a place we can someday most certainly call home
